Finding a voice
Becca continually experiments with her voice. These past few weeks have included much laughter as she screams with delight and looks so serious while "talking." We also get a kick out of her when she goes to bed or takes a nap. She has to "sing" herself to sleep. She does this every time she is tired. For the first time yet, Becca fell asleep during "tummy time." She often finds her thumb and soothes herself to sleep. I've included a little video montage of her singing. It is amazing how one little person can provide hours of entertainment and tremendous joy! :)
School is out!!
Yea for summer!!! Joe and I are officially done with the school year as of Wednesday. I'm so thankful that I get to be home with Becca now and spend more time with her. Especially during the next few months when she is changing and growing so rapidly. We have more times for walks. She loves the outdoors, but unfortunately was so sleepy that she fell asleep during our walk the other day.
Becca has been trying to eat her toes lately. She grabs onto her legs and tries to put them in her mouth.
Pastor Bryan and his wife Beth, our former pastor from Silent Grove Church in West Virginia, stopped by last night to visit with us. It was good to see them. I miss our friends in West Virginia. Maybe we will get to visit one day soon! It was great to see Bryan and Beth and spend some time catching up.

Exersaucer!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
It has been a crazy weekend. Becca had her 4 month check-up on Thursday. She is now 14 pounds 4 ounces and 25 1/2 inches long. She did really well with her shots as well. She started to pout, but when she saw me making faces at her she didn't cry. I was amazed and thankful because I hate seeing her cry from pain!
Joe's birthday was Saturday. I don't think he wanted to be reminded of this fact. Becca gave daddy a card and we celebrated by having a cool cake made.
On a sad note, our dog of 7 years died as well. Shostakovich was a great dog. He was our "first child." It is amazing how attached we become to our pets. He was a goofy, happy dog and will be missed. We are thankful for the life he had and the many laughs he gave us.

Four months old
Becca is now officially four months old! The time has flown by. She is now getting frustrated because she can't travel anywhere. She really wants to move. She scoots on her back right now. She is also grabbing everything within her reach. Here is a picture of daddy getting a little too close and a little girl grabbing his hair!! :)

Joe loves to "run" with Becca. She really enjoys time with her Daddy. I wanted to post this video because he had her really laughing and talking. We have truly been blessed with a wonderful daughter. I thank the Lord every day for Becca. She is truly a special gift and such a good baby! She is starting to teeth already and has been putting everything in her mouth...including her play gym!

First Time Blogger
Okay...so I'm going to try to keep up with blogging. I have posted pics on Facebook, but I think more family and friends will get to see Becca if I blog.
Mother's Day was really nice yesterday. Becca has really started giggling and smiling. She sometimes talks non-stop. We went out-to-eat yesterday and she was great. Joe and I are continually amazed at how good she is when we go out places. She is so aware of everything and just sits in her carseat and looks around.
Our new adventure is the Bumbo. She enjoys sitting in it and chewing on her hands. She also has started scooting across the floor in order to be closer to everyone. We love her smile! Here are some pictures to catch everyone up.
