I have not had time to sit down and blog for awhile. It seems like we were getting ready for Becca's party and then were really busy with school things. Becca had her first year check-up last week and she is doing really well. She was a little low on the weight percentile, so the doctor said not to hesitate to give her at least 20 ounces of whole milk and put some butter on her toast to get her weight moving a little more. She was 18 pounds 15 ounces and 30 inches long. She is a skinny little thing. I have a hard time finding pants that will stay around her waist! She sometimes walks around with her "Pants on the Ground." :)
Becca had a wonderful birthday party with a lot of family and friends. We are so blessed that so many of our family members could come. She was in great spirits all day which helped. She really didn't seem all that interested in her banana cake. Once she tried a little piece she decided she liked the fondant and the icing the best. I thought if it was shaped like a banana she might try it since that is her favorite fruit. Her party theme was monkeys. Her cake turned out really well and was very yummy. White almond and chocolate with raspberry filling....okay this cake was more for the adult taste buds! :) Becca still isn't very interested in opening presents, but she did enjoy the books and toys that she received. It was the day of the Colts playoff game so of course everyone was decked out in their Colts gear and gathered around the TV. Here are some fun pictures!
